Mathematics Education Online: Increasing graduate engagement through eLearning

Description

This project converts the existing Graduate Diploma in Mathematics Education, currently offered face‐to‐face, to online delivery. This online Graduate Diploma will be made available to students as a stand-alone credential, but will also offer an entry point to further graduate study, allowing students to “ladder up” to a Masters of Education Degree. Once students complete the online Diploma, they could apply to complete the Masters of Education, with the possibility of also completing the remaining 9 credits required online. This online Graduate Diploma program will be of great interest to mature or professional learners, including teachers and curriculum/instructional leaders working in the education system, and to those seeking additional credentials and expertise but not yet ready to commit to a full graduate degree program.
