Public History and the York Classroom: Building Links with Toronto’s Heritage Sites

Description

Designed to foster closer engagement between York students and faculty and heritage sites, institutions and organizations in the GTA and lead to development of a public history course, the project has several components: developing an inventory of local heritage resources and links with organizations, encouragement of incorporation of these resources into courses, and a conference to build on links and explore issues.
