Snapshots@York: Constructing an eLearning Resource for Clear-Language Communication Skills Development

Description

Clear-language practices aim to reduce unnecessary complexity in communication. This project will introduce students to clear-language communication and its principles, practices, and benefits. Students will engage with an interactive eLearning tool to build skills in clear-language communication of individual research studies and innovative teaching strategies across multiple media, reflective of information consumerism in everyday life. Student-produced Snapshots provide an effective tool for clear-language dissemination of current research and teaching activity within and outside the York community, increasing accessibility and visibility of innovation at York, while providing increased opportunity for blended curriculum and experiential education.
